Mrs. James Trca Died Very Suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 18th
Had Been In Usual Health Thruout Day; Death Occurred About 6 P.M.

Duncan community was shocked Tuesday evening when news went out of the sudden death of Mrs. James Trca, who passed away suddenly at her home just south of the cemetery. In the morning she had attended the special services at the Catholic church and partaken of the noonday meal in the community hall. After an early supper, Mr. Trca went outside to complete his evening chores and his wife went to lie down. When the husband returned to the house a short time later he found her lifeless body. Altho Mrs. Trca had a few ailments, she had not complained of any unusual illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Trca were married in Garner about forty-six years ago. Two or three years prior to the time of their marriage Mrs. Trca came to this country from Bohemia where she was born March 19, 1867, therefore she had reached the age of 67 years at the time of her death. For the first two years of their married life they resided near Goodell and then moved to the farm north of Duncan where their son Frank J. Trca, now resides. They spent the next twenty-eight years there and sixteen years ago moved to the farm where they have since resided. Mrs. Trca's maiden name was Josi Prakopel. One son, Frank J. Trca, was born of this union.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Wenceslaus church in Duncan.
