Mankato [Minnesota] resident and former longtime Mapleton resident, Robert "Bob" Elwood Davis, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Keystone Senior Living. Celebration of Robert's Life will be 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mapleton T&C Leisure Center. Woodland Hills Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Bob was born December 1, 1929 in Kanawha, IA to Howard and Bessie (Benson) Davis. On November 29, 1950 he was united in marriage to Carol Lee Hanson. Bob was the co-creator/founder of B&R Auto grandchildren, Cory Myher, Kris Davis, Barbra Davis, Sean Davis, John Robert Davis, Jessica Davis, Mindi Brown and Mason Davis; great grandchildren, Landon Davis, Cecelia Brown, Ben Davis, Morgan Myher and Johanna Davis; sisters, Darlene, Janis and Hilda. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; son, Robert Eugene Davis; brothers, Gene, Billy, Larry, Don and Arlan; sister, Margarie.
