Kent Julius Anderson, 71, was born in Clarion, Iowa. At a young age, he moved to Lake Oswego with his mother. He graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1962 and married the love of his life, Sandra Volm in 1965. They lived together in the same house in Lake Grove for over 50 years. Kent loved his family and took great pride in his work as a builder. He spent his free time working with wood, hunting and spending time with his wife at Black Butte Ranch. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jean Anderson; sisters, Molly and Janica; daughter, Shelly Chase; son, Scott Anderson; and beautiful grandchildren, Tyler and Brady Chase, and Natalie, Will and Reagan Anderson. There will be a service held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 15751 Quarry Road, Lake Oswego. In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
