MAYVILLE - Bertha L. "Bert" Wryn, of Mayville, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Summit Springs Retirement Village in Condon. She was 70. At her request, no service will be held. She was born July 15, 1936 in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to Arthur and Norma Biondahl. She was raised in Iowa where she graduated from high school. In 1959, she married Ralph Wryn in Klamath Falls; they later divorced. She had lived in the Fossil-Mayville area since 1970. Mrs. Wryn enjoyed reading, gardening, animals, especially cats, cooking and the outdoors. She is survived by son Scott Wryn of Ione; daughter Vicky Wryn of Portland; and two grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice. Sweeney Mortuary of Condon is in charge of arrangements.
