July 18, 1916 ---- October 25, 1995

Harold Holley, 79, Bemidji, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995, in North Country Regional Hospital, Bemidji. Harold M. Holley was born July 18, 1916, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Edna (Banks) Holley. He attended school in Wells, Minn., and married Hazel Kirchgatter Dec. 12, 1937, in Fairmont, Minn. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, was a police officer in Fairmont, where he owned and operated Farmers Supply and Service, and lived in Bemidji, where he was a sales supervisor for Midwest Research and worked for General Trading and Thorson Inc.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Dianne (Mrs. Joseph) D'Alessandro, Solway, Minn.; sons, Jerald, Mount Morris, Ill., and Steven, Bemidji; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Don, Miller, S.D.; and sister, Betty Walters, Cheyenne, Wyo. He was preceded in death by sister, Helen.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday in First Lutheran Church, Bemidji. Visitation:4 to 7 p.m. today in Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Burial:Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji.
