KATHERINE L. BLAIR, 85, OF 507 S. HILL ST., LA CRESCENT, Minn., and a resident of the La Crescent Health Care Center, died Saturday, March 25, 1995, in the care center. She was born on Oct. 24, 1909, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to Joe and Clara (Howland) Smith. She married Robert E. Blair on July 17, 1929, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1966. She is survived by one daughter, Joan (Lloyd) Jenks of La Crescent; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Christopher) Loken and their daughter, Marisa Katherine Loken of North Mankato, Minn., and Kathy Ann (Milton) Woodward and their children, Nicole and Michael Woodward of Dale City, Va. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wyatt, Marvin and Bernard. A Christian Science Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 1995, in the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home in La Crescent. Burial will be in the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday, in the funeral home.
