IOWA FALLS, IA -- Services for John E. Pippin, 79, who died at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Monday night, will be at 10:30 am. Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. H. I. Suds officiating, Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, near Dows.

He was born Feb. 1, 1891, at Nashville, TN., a son of Mac and Ida Alexander Pippin. He married Elizabeth Davidson at Nashville. They lived at Dows before moving to Iowa Falls in 1937. He was a carpenter. Survivors include his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Opal) Warner of Iowa Falls; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Sim of Sycamore, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Lola Riddle, and one half-brother, Frank Dyer, both of Cooksville, Tenn.
