Rites Held for Mattie Lovrien, 91, Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE—Funeral services were held here at the Sacquety Funeral Chapel for Mattie Lovrien, 91, who died in a Humboldt nursing home. Officiating at the service was a grandson, the Rev. Donald Legg, Indianapolis, Ind. The Rev. Roy Cox of the Methodist Church assisted. Burial was in the Union Cemetery at Humboldt. Mrs. Lovrien was preceded in death by her husband [James Lovrien]. Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Leo Fuller, Humboldt; Blanche Legg, Peoria, Ill., Mrs. C. V. Bernhart, Waterloo; Neva Behrens, Osage; Mrs. Roger Middleton, Eagle Grove; Miss Rose Lovrien, Fort Dodge; George Lovrien, Ayrshire and Sidney Lovrien, Portland Ore. Thirty-one grandchildren also survive as do 66 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister, John Imus, Charles City; Frank Imus and Florence Imus, Eagle Grove, also survive. Mrs. Lovrien had been a patient in the Humboldt nursing home for about four years. Previous to that her daughter, Mrs. Legg, had cared for her at her home in Eagle Grove.
