Funeral services for Mrs. John W. Saxton of Fort Dodge were held Friday at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Saxton died suddenly Tuesday evening, December 27 from a heart attack. The Saxton family were former residents of Hardy. Mrs. Saxton is survived by one son, John Saxton Junior and one daughter Mrs. Don L. Pieper; four grandchildren; two brothers Otto Monson of Redfield, South Dakota and Arthur of Bode; two sisters, Mrs. John Rolland of Osage and Mrs. John Jung of Lake Orian, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Glenn Saxton who died in World War II and infant twin sons. Attending services from Hardy were Mrs. Clifford Olden; Mr. and Mrs. W. C. McKin; Mrs. R. G. Saxton and Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Walkner. Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
