October 19, 1894 ---- July 16, 1977

Funeral services were held Tues. July 19 at the United Methodist church for Cora Greenlander. Rev. Robert Newberg officiated at the services. Burial was at Paullina, Iowa, and Andrew-Quesenberry Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Cora Greenlander was born Oct. 19, 1894 at Paullina, Ia., to Joseph and May Catlin Hoke. She passed away on July 16 at her home in Belmond. Cora attended Clayhorn Township School and was married on Nov. 22, 1928 to Ray Kitterman of Paullina. Mr. Kitterman passed away in June of 1946. She was married again in 1952 to John Greenlander of Belmond. He passed away in 1966. The Newcomers Club was organized by Cora. She was the Newcomers hostess for 14 years. She was a member of Eastern Star, spent 16 years on the board of the Mental Health Center of North Iowa and was a member of the Methodist church. Cora was preceded in death by her parents and both of her husbands. She is survived by three step-daughters: Amelia Weigand of Storm Lake, Peggy Kephart of Des Moines, and Irene Bennett of Sioux City; four sisters, Marion Harbough of Muscatine, Laura Mccracken of Waynesboro, Va., Maude Beaber of Fayette, Mo., and Edna West of Litchfield, Minn. Pallbearers were Harold Shobe, Luin Cox, Dale Kessler, Jim Waddington, Cecil Carstens, and Dick Robson of Clarion.
