Sudden death of Mrs. F. H. Kelly

Mrs. F. H. Kelly (Lillian), 74, died at her home Monday night after a brief illness. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Larson, had taken Dr. and Mrs. Kelly to Denver, Colo, several weeks ago to the home of their son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Miller, as Dr.
Kelly was unable to drive on account of his health. Later the Kellys went by plane to Huntington Beach, Calif, to visit their son Frederick and family for three weeks and had returned to the Miller home. When they were ready to return to Goldfield, Mr. and Mrs. Larson again motored to Denver to escort them home, and had arrived here about 8 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Kelly was in fine spirits and apparent good health, but about 10 o'clock became ill and died minutes later.

Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock this (Thursday) morning in the United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wm. McConnelee officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband, one son Frederick H. Kelly, Jr., Huntington Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Ross Miller, Littleton, Colo.; five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Otto Kitzman, Elmore, Minn, and Mrs. Geo. Losen, Sarasota, Fla. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Lillian L. Kelly, daughter of Julius and Marie Isch was born on November 30, 1898 at West Bend. Her early childhood was spent at West Bend where she attended school and received her education. On April 15, 1921 at West Bend she was united in marriage to Dr. Frederick H. Kelly and to this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Goldfield, also a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Iowa Veterinary Medical Auxiliary.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Dr. Frederick H. Kelly and one son, Frederick H. Kelly Jr. of Huntington Beach, Calif. and one daughter, Mary Lou, Mrs. Ross Miller, of Littleton, Colo. Five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Kitzman of Elmore, Minn, and Mrs. George Losen of Sarasota, Fla.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 26, at the United Presbyterian Church, Goldfield with the Rev. William McConnelee officiating.
