CLARION - Mildred "Millie" Ott, 69, of Clarion, died Monday (Sept. 9, 2002) at the USA Healthcare Center in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Clarion, with the Rev. Mike Druhl and the Rev. Curt Miner officiating. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Willim Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St. in Clarion and will continue one hour prior to services on Thursday. Willim Funeral Home.

Mildred "Millie" Ott, 69, of Clarion, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2002, at the USA Healthcare Center, Clarion. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 12, at the First United Methodist Church, Clarion. Rev. Mike Druhl and Rev. Curt Miner officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. The Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of the arrangements.Mildred was born on August 19, 1933 in Valentine, Nebraska, the daughter of Wendell and Stella Adams Cramer. She moved with her family to Clarion when she was 12 years of age. She attended schools in Clarion and graduated from the Clarion High School in 1951. After high school she worked for Dr. Gorrell.
Mildred was united in marriage to LaVerne Ott on August 3, 1952, at the United Methodist Church in Clarion. The couple made their home in Clarion. Millie worked at McConaughy's Restaurant and the Teenee Weenee Restaurant. She later worked for the Brenton Bank, retiring in 1998.
Mildred was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarion, singing in the choir and participating in Sunday School. Mildred was active in her UMW Circle where she was serving as President.
Mildred is survived by her husband, LaVerne of Clarion; one daughter, Linda McCormick and husband, Scott of Clarion; two sons, Dan of Clarion and Robert and wife, Kim of Clarion; four grandchildren; five brothers, Don and wife, Pauline of Arizona, Harold and wife, Jene of Missouri, Doug and wife, Helen of Iowa Falls, Rich and wife, Nonna of Illinois and Frank and wife, Mary Jane of Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jaunel Willey.
