October 15, 1854 --- August 3, 1929

Seaver K. Seaver was born 15 Oct 1854 in Illinois and died 3 Aug 1929 in Sharon, Wisconsin. He was the son of Knute Sjurson Seaver who was born 1826 and died 1907 and his wife Thora Olsdatter Jordahl Hyland who was born 1829 and died 1922. Seaver K. Sever, known as "Ole" was a farmer early in life. Census show him at age 16 working a farm in Manchester, Illinois - the year was 1870. By 1878, Seaver was working for Ansel Schellenger of Manchester, Illinois and hoped to have his own farm one day. He is 24 years old. On 28 Dec 1882 he married Emma Engeborg Paulson, daughter of Jacob and Rachel Lunn Paulson. The couple sets up a farm in Illinois. They have 8 children - 7 lived to adulthood: Rebecca Thorinda; Maude Edith; Pearl Frances; Raymond Lewis; Josephine Bessie; Jessie who died as an infant; Arthur Herbert and Gladys Emma. In 1895, Seaver K. Seaver moved to Vernon, Wright County, Iowa with his family. By 1900 he and his wife Emma and family were living in Wright, Iowa with his father plus Annie Seaver, age 26 - a cousin from Norway and Lewis Knutson Seaver, age 42, a brother. In 1926 Seaver and family move again with their family. His sons Arthur and Raymond with their spouses are living with them at this time. Seaver died 3 Aug 1929 in Sharon, Wisconsin.
