Mae Tillman age 106 of Clarion passed away Wednesday morning, December 19, 2007 at USA Healthcare in Clarion. Funeral services for Mae Tillman will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Clarion Church of Christ in Clarion with Pastor Tim Platt officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Visitation for Mae Tillman will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Mae, the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Doctor) Henry was born October 8, 1901 in Clarion. She attended and graduated from the Clarion schools. Following graduation she taught several years in county schools, this meant teaching 17 students of different ages and grade levels. Mae was united in marriage with Oliver Tillman on May 1, 1924. The couple made their home on a farm east of Clarion in Lincoln Township. Following Oliver's death in 1934, Mae continued to live on the farm until 1950 when she moved into Clarion,. Mae resided at Southtown Apartments for twenty years before becoming a resident of USA Healthcare Center in Clarion Mae is survived by her son Jack and his wife Levetta Tillman of Clarion, her daughter Wilma and her husband Wayne Tank of Wilton; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren and other family ad friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oliver and brother Harold Henry.
