November 17, 1882 ---- October 8, 1967

Mrs. Edith H. Olson, 85, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8 at her home 618 1/2 Division St., Northfield. She was born Nov. 17, 1882 at Jewell, Iowa. She had lived at Eagle Grove, Iowa until 1949 when she moved to Northfield with her husband who preceded her in death. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Albert Olberg for the past several years. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. from the Salem Lutheran Church at Roland, Iowa with the Rev. Olaf Holen officiating. Interment was at the Roland Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Jerene, (Mrs. Albert Olberg), Northfield; one sister, Gusty Brown, Eagle Grove, Iowa; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
