Mrs. Jessie C. Paulsrud, 85, of Northfield Manor died Monday, May 28, 1984, at the Metropolitan Medical Center in Minneapolis. Mrs. Paulsrud was born Feb. 1, 1899, to Martin and Lena Roseland in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She married Hillman Paulsrud April 11, 1934, in Minneapolis. A teacher, she taught in public schools in Iowa and Lakeville. She lived in Burnsville prior to moving here and was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Burnsville. Survivors include a son, Richard Bellows of Brookings, S.D.; a daughter, Rosanne Sharrett of Davis, Calif.; two step-daughters, Virginia Dash of Edina and Janet deLambert of St. Paul; a sister, Margaret Branaka of Northfield; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Hillman Paulsrud and Ralph Bellows; her parents, a brother and two grandchildren. The funeral service was held today (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. at Benson Funeral Home in Northfield. The Rev. A. J. Thorson officiated. Esther Kildahl Olson sang, accompanied by organist Mrs. Donald Klinefelter. Pallbearers were Brian Larson, David Rikhus, James Slaney, Jack Ott, Les Mack and Norman Andersen. Interment was at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Burnsville.
