October 1, 1898 --- April 22, 1947

Albert F. Severin, well-known in Waseca and a resident here for the past 23 years, passed away at his home at 206 Seventh avenue N. E., on Tuesday at 12:35 p. m. He had been ill for the last three and one-half years following a stroke. He was 48 years old and a veteran of World War I. Funeral services were held today, April 24, at the Pfaff Funeral Home at 1 p. m. with Rev. M. Green officiating and burial was made in the Woodville cemetery. Pall bearers were Louis Kastner, Ben Elton, Carl Moore, Howard Smith, Erwin Ewest and James Darran. He is survived by his wife and three sons, Albert N. of Owatonna, William F. and Ronald R. of Waseca. He is also survived by two sisters, Miss Gretchen J. Severin of Albert Lea and Mrs. John (Helen) Davel of Palmyra, Wis.

Albert F. Severin was born on October 1, 1896, son of Albert L. and Sadie Helen Severin, at Corwith, Iowa. He was educated in the schools there and at Kanawha, Ia. Mr. Severin was a member of the 89th Aero Squadron and served 18 months overseas. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1642 in Waseca.
