Prayer services for Mrs. Cora Haase, former Faribault resident who passed away at Goldfield, Iowa, on October 4, were conducted at the Wilson-Sacquety Funeral Chapel of Eagle Grove, Iowa, on Tuesday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday October 6 at the Presbyterian Church in Russell, Minnesota, under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home. Interment was made in the church cemetery at Russell.

Cora Jennie Haase, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meyer, was born June 31, 1880 at Faribault. She spent her early life in and attended school at Faribault. On June 10, 1903, she was united in marriage to Emil W. Haase and to this union were born three children. For 12 years the family resided at St. Paul before moving to Russell where it made its home before the death of Mr. Haase who passed away in February, 1933. Mrs. Haase was a member of the Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star at Montevideo and a member of the Royal Neighbors of Russell.

Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy of Eagle Grove and Marguerite of Faribault, and one son, Walter H. of Minneapolis. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lillian Olin and a brother, Walter Meyer, both of Faribault, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Florence Roth, preceded her in death.
