Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 1995, at the Wadena Assembly of God, Wadena, Minn, for Willis Hotchkiss, age 88, of rural Sebeka, Minn. Mr. Hotchkiss passed away at Crest View Lutheran Home in Columbia Heights, Minn, on Friday, January 13. 1995. Rev. Dave McLennan will officiate the service.

Mr. Hotchkiss was born on May 22, 1906 in Eagle Grove to Willis Roscoe and Ada (Grey) Hotchkiss. He was educated and graduated from the Spirit Lake schools. He attended college at Sioux Falls, S.D. While in high school, he was allstar in football and baseball. He married Carrie V. Heggre on November 27, 1930 in Lake Park. After their marriage, they farmed in Milford prior to moving to Spirit Lake. They then moved to Sunnyvale, Calif. In 1960, they moved to Minnesota. He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Collins of New Brixton, Minn.; sons: Wayne of New York Mills; Gayle of Detroit Lakes: and Rodney of Minneapolis; a sister, Mrs. Shirley Frees of Cammna, [Camano Island] Wash. He was preceded in death by his wife. Carrie, on March 11, 1992. Interment will be in Wadena Cemetery, Wadena, Minn. Bielema Funeral Home of Wadena, Minn, is in charge of arrangements.
