November 1, 1913 ---- October 2, 1997

Clifford 'Bill' Boring, 83 of Fort Dodge, died Oct. 2, 1997, at Trinity Regional Hospital. Services were on Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at Bruce's Funeral Home, Fort Dodge, with the Rev. Kerry Viken, pastor at First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Survivors include his son Forrest, Deltona, Fla.; daughters Judy Kahler, Badger; Rosemary Johnson, Fort Dodge; Billie Jorgensen, Kalo; Sherry Jorgensen, Spirit Lake. Eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step great- randchildren; sister Gayle DelCampo, Plymouth, Mich.; He is preceded in death by his parents Ulysses and Bertha (Davis) Boring; his wife Vera; an infant son; brothers John, Ben, Gifford, and Burly; sisters Hazel Clevenger, Orma Barnhouse, Nora VanArsdale and Nellie Boring.

Clifford 'Bill' Boring was born Nov, 1, 1913, in Eagle Grove. He attended school in Eagle Grove and later began working with his father as a brick mason. In 1933 he married Vera Fairchild in Webster City. The couple lived in Eagle Grove until 1963, when they moved into Fort Dodge. Vera died in 1965. After her death he continued to live and work in the Fort Dodge area. He was a lifetime member of Local No. 3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen.
