Anna Mara Sweeny, the daughter of Daniel and Bridgett McGary Sweeny, was born July 4, 1893, at Chenoa, Ill. She attended school at Chenoa. On February 24, 1916 she was married to John Redelman of Millhouse, Ind., at Storm Lake. Following their marriage they made their home in Eagle Grove where Mr. Redelman worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. Mr. Redelman died in 1976. Anna died Monday, Sept. 19 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 15 days. Survivors include a son, John Bernard Redelman, Jr., Brookfield, Wisc.; one nephew and two grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, a brother, John Sweeny, and a sister, Margaret Ebbing. Rosary services were held at the Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eagle Grove. Father Norman White officiated and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
