Walter Kagle dies Sunday

Walter P. Kagle, 81, died Sunday at the South Care Center, Humboldt. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Donald Forbes, Ames, former pastor of the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. He is survived by one brother-in-law, Lowell Eversz of Hemet, Calif. Mr. Kagle was married to Vivian Eversz of Eagle Grove Dec. 24, 1921. He was employed by General Mills and they lived in Minneapolis, Minn.; Oskaloosa, Ia. and Chicago, Ill. during that time. When he retired they returned to the Eversz family home at 605 So. Jackson to reside. Mrs. Kagle died in 1975. Lowell Eversz came to attend the funeral services.
