Funeral services for John Henry Redelman, 88, were held Monday morning in Sacred Heart Church, with Rev. Wm. Menster of St. John's Church, Clarion, officiating at the mass. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Redelman died Thursday at his home, 921 No. Monroe, following an illness of several weeks. He is survived by his wife, and one son, John, of Brookfield, Wis. Mr. Redelman was a retired employee of the Chicago and North Western R.R. He was born at Millhouse, Ind., Nov. 3, 1887 and attended school there. In 1916 he came to Eagle Grove. On Feb. 24, 1916 he was married to Anna Sweeney of Kankakee, Ill. at Storm Lake, Ia. They returned to Eagle Grove to make their home, where Mr. Redelman was employed on the Bridge and Building Department of the C. and N.W. He retired some years ago. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Brotherhood of Maintenance Engineers.
