Eagle High graduate dies in Des Moines

Oren Lonning, 62, of Des Moines, died June 10 and funeral services were held there the following Friday. He was a brother of Alvin Lonning of Eagle Grove and is also survived by two other brothers Leslie and Edgar of Fort Dodge. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Lonning and was born and raised in Thor. Lonning was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School and had resided in Des Moines.
