June 3, 1960 --- June 23, 1975

Randal Dean Schroeder was born June 3, 1960, the son of Jack and Mary Rutherford Schroeder, at Clarion, Iowa. He attended school at Webster City, Andalusia, Ill. and Eagle Grove, where he was an 8th grade student. Randy was injured in the collision of his bicycle and a pick-up truck on an Eagle Grove street, Monday evening. He died in the ambulance on the way to a Ft. Dodge Hospital. He is survived by his father of Ft. Dodge, his mother, Mrs. Mary Nelson, Eagle Grove; one brother, Martin; and a sister, Jacqueline, both of Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 19, 1975 at 2 p.m. in the Kastler -Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home. Pastor H. W. Schiller officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
