Phyllis Ruth (Enge) Oberg, 84, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, ND. Phyllis was born on July 21, 1931 in Hardy, IA to the late Alvin and Aletta (Johnson) Enge. As a child she and her family moved to Crookston, MN where she grew up and graduated from Crookston High School in 1948. She was united in marriage on May 29, 1952 in Cheyenne, WY to Glenn Oberg. They farmed in the Angus, MN area until moving to East Grand Forks, MN in 1966. They moved to Reynolds, ND in 1972 and then to Grand Forks in 1986. She provided home child care, worked at Young Manufacturing, Olson Drug, and KMart.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Daniel (Lu Ann) Oberg of Wauban, MN; Debra (Thomas) Longtin of Waukesha, WI; Dean (Helen) Oberg of Grand Forks, ND; Diane Hillebrand of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Rebecca, Amy, Alan, Ben, Zack and Allison; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Nori; sister, Norma (James) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn on August 21, 1999; parents; brothers, Arnold, Claire, Raymond, and Allen Enge, and sister, Ilene Knapp.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am ~ Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00pm ~ Friday, August 14, 2015 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery ~ Grand Forks, ND; Arrangements By: Dahl Funeral Home ~ East Grand Forks, MN
