KINGSTON, NY - Virgil McIntosh, 80, left this earth peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Health Alliance Broadway Campus. Virgil was born May 22, 1934 in Eagle Grove, Iowa, son of Clarence and Edith (Carter) McIntosh. He was employed at IBM in Kingston for 26 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. In his retirement, Virgil pursued his spiritual beliefs and published spiritual lessons to help others realize their own spirituality. Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Arlene McIntosh, to whom he was married for 63 years. He leaves behind five children, Debbie (Harry) Broskie; Gary (Bernadette) McIntosh; Steve (Carol) McIntosh; Susan (Jim) Williams, and; Lori McIntosh. 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive and his beloved Tinkerbell. Family and friends may call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. A Service to Celebrate his life will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
