January 27, 1937 --- April 8, 2003

Mary Spellmeyer, 66, of Webster City, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at her daughter's home in Webster City. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Dr. Craig Bex and Pastor Allen Treibel officiating. Burial will be Saturday at the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church after 1 p.m. Friday.

Mary Eva Keller, daughter of Leo and Evelyn Hoarseman Keller was born January 27, 1937 at Britt, Iowa. She received her education in the Webster City school system. On June 26, 1955, she married Roger William Spellmeyer at Woolstock. The couple resided at Webster City. She had been employed at the Maid-rite, McGilligan's, Crestview Senior Living, Public Health-homemaker health aid, Van Diest Supply as a lab technician, all at Webster City, and part time at Unkies at Thor. Mr. Spellmeyer died June 21, 1996.

Mrs. Spellmeyer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Allen Treibel of Webster City; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Spellmeyer of Chicago; David and Kay Spellmeyer of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Noel and Nathan Treibel; Patrick, Allison and Derek Spellmeyer; special friend Michael Moody of Chicago; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Pete Keller and one brother in infancy.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God and she received great pleasure in watching her grandchildren's accomplishments.
