June 29, 1929 --- September 2, 1932

Melvin Emil Kunert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Kunert peacefully passed away to the Heavenly Land at an early morning hour on Friday Sept. 2, 1932 from the Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge. He was born on June 29, 1929 and thus at the early age of three years, two months and four days, he leaves the sheltering love of his earthly parents to play in a land that is fairer than day and where no hurt or pain can ever spoil his eternal happiness. He leaves to mourn his passing his bereaved parents, one brother, Kenneth Dale, his grandparents and very many friends and playmates.

He had a happy sunny disposition and his merry ways brought such gladness to the hearts of his parents. But now his little play things are laid away for the eternal joys of heaven for their angels ever behold the face of the Heavenly Father. Only the Christian hope of reunion after death and faith in the eternal unerring wisdom of God can sustain in so great a sorrow.
