Daisy Kunert, 81, of Humboldt, died Thursday, Feb 5, at Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient less than a day. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Humboldt, with burial in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at Lindhart Funeral Home after 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Paul Otto and Rev. Robert Molldrem will officiate at the funeral services. Casket bearers will be Carl Vought, Earl Vought, John Vought, Ronny Vinsand, Randy Vinsand, and Gary Vinsand. Eilert Sampson will be the usher. In charge of flowers will be Mrs. Eilert Sampson and Mrs. Louis Poppings.

Mrs. Kunert is survived by her husband Emil; two sons, Kenneth and Ray, both of Humboldt; and three grandchildren. Daisy Chaffee was born and educated in Clarion. She was married to Emil Kunert Nov. 23, 1920, at Fort Dodge. The couple lived on the same farm all of their married life. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last November. Mrs. Kunert was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sixty Club and Our Saviour's Lutheran congregation.
