December 17, 1910 --- April 27, 1988

CLEAR LAKE – Anna Mae Larson, 77, of 903 Ninth Ave. S., Clear Lake, died Wednesday (April 27, 1988) at home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, 508 Second Ave. N., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Bernard Olson officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. The family requests memorials be given to the Anna Mae Larson Memorial Fund.

She was born Dec. 17, 1910, in Albany, Ill., to James and Ella (Knoll) Kurtz. She moved to Belmond at an early age and attended rural schools near Belmond. She lived with her parents on the Kurtz Dairy Farm near Belmond. On April 20, 1935, she married Alfred Larson in Mason City. They have lived in Clear Lake since their marriage. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake.

Visitation will be after 7 tonight at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake. Survivors include her husband, Alfred, Clear Lake; one daughter, Beverly Ann Elder, Mason City; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Bernice) Lenning, Clear Lake; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters.
