December 7, 1885 --- June 29, 1963

Mrs. Margaret E. Haack, 77, longtime resident of the Woolstock and Eagle Grove communities, died Saturday afternoon at the Askvig Nursing home in Eagle Grove. She had been in failing health the past year. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Leon Wallace of Woolstock officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland cemetery.

Margaret Eleanor Wolf, daughter of William and Martha Wolf, was born Dec. 7, 1885, near Pontiac, Ill., and was reared and educated in that community. She was united in marriage Jan. 6, 1909, to Lewis P. Haack, and the couple farmed in Illinois until 1911, then moving to Iowa, locating on a farm west of Woolstock. Her husband preceded her in death in 1950, and the following year Mrs. Haack moved into Eagle Grove, her home since.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Luella, who died in 1914; by her parents; one brother and a twin sister. She is survived by one son, Donald L. Haack of Des Moines. Mrs. Haack was a member of the Methodist church at Woolstock.
