Services for David Draeger, 27, of Webster City will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran church, Woolstock, with Rev. Mark Kastner officiating and burial in the Rose Hill cemetery, Eagle Grove. Visitation will be at the Kastler-Babcock funeral home, Eagle Grove.

He died Sunday afternoon after a car he was working on fell off a jack and crushed him at his parent's home in Galt.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; two daughters, Angela and Megan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Draeger of Galt; and several brothers and sisters. He was educated in Webster City, Clarion and Eagle Grove, and graduated from high school in Kankakee, Ill. He married Rhonda Schaumburg Oct. 20, 1979 at St. John's Lutheran church, Vincent. He was employed at the Van Diest company and had lived near Webster City for the past two years.

David Draeger, the son of Raymond and Marine Larson Draeger, was born on July 28, 1958 at Iowa Falls, Iowa. He attended school at Clarion, Webster City, Eagle Grove and graduated from Kankakee, Illinois High School. He was united in marriage with Rhonda Schaumburg at St. John's Lutheran Church in Vincent, Iowa, on October 20, 1979. After their marriage, they lived at Huxley and Roland, Iowa, and for the past two years, the family lived near Webster City and he was employed at the VanDiest Supply Company. He was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Woolstock.

He died on Sunday afternoon, January 19, 1986, at Galt, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; two daughters, Angela Lynn, age 4 and Megan Lea, age 2; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Draeger of Galt, his grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Draeger of Webster City; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Schaumburg of rural Clarion; his sisters, Carol, Mrs. Leland Arthur of Clarion; Sharon, Mrs. Dale Halphrey of Dallas, Texas; Judy Barnes of Milan, Illinois; Jane, Mrs. Robert Schnell of Webster City; Marlene, Mrs. Dennis Kastner of Iowa Falls; Mary Ann, Mrs. Mark Duensing of Claremore, Okla., Viola, Mrs. Red VanAmpting of Spencer; Marge, Mrs. Dennis Krieger of Blairsburg; Gladys, Mrs. Robert Pruisman of Blairsburg; Barbara, Mrs. Marty Shaw of Webster City; Pearl, Mrs. Larry Whitson of Sac City; his brothers, George and Gary, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; Charlie of Stratford; LeRoy of Spencer and Albert of Webster City; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Darwin, and grandparents.

Funeral services for David Draeger of rural Webster City were held on Wednesday, January 22, 1986, at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Woolstock. Rev. Mark Kastner, church pastor, officiated, and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Visitation was held on Tuesday at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.
