Retired Engineer Dies; Rites Monday at Eagle Grove

Eagle Grove - Elfry Lyle Fisher, 70, a retired C & N.W. Engineer died Friday at the Fort Dodge Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Samuel Lutheran Church here with burial at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Masonic services were held Monday night at the Kastler Funeral Home. Surviving are his wife Gretta; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Nibe, Newton, IA, Mrs. E. A. Brown, Thor, IA and Mrs. Russell Mendenhall, Des Moines, IA; one son, Robert, Melrose Park, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.
