ROCK HILL - Patricia A. Jablonski, 71, of 1847 Fairlawn Court, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center, Pineville, N.C. Pat was born September 1, 1943, in Clarion, Iowa . She grew up in Webster City, Iowa and graduated from Mercy School of Nursing-Des Moines in 1964. Pat served and loved many people throughout her career in Omaha, Neb. and Conway, Ark. Her mottos in life were ";To Christ through my patients"; and ";Not my will, but thy will be done."; Pat retired from Kimberly-Clark Conway Mills in 2002. She later moved to Rock Hill, S.C. to be closer to family. Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend; especially to her dear friend, John Wanger. Her kind words, cards, hugs and prayers blessed many. Pat was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and attended noon mass daily at St. Philip Neri. She was very involved in the Optimist Club, Rosary and Confraternity Society, Bereavement Committee and Bible Study Fellowship. She also enjoyed her Bunco, Domino and Fairlawn Villa friends. Pat is survived by her daughter, Anne and Ed Carrasquillo of San Jose, Calif.; son, Michael Jablonski of Omaha, Neb.; daughter, Mary and Mike Parkman of Rock Hill, S.C. and son, Tom and Virginia Jablonski of Newcastle, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Rachel and Andrew Carrasquillo, Josh and Daniel Jablonski, Maddie and Mitchell Parkman and Wade Jablonski; brothers, Mike (Nancy) Wright of Longmont, Colo., John (Paula) Wright of Minneapolis, Minn. and several nieces and a nephew. Pat is predeceased by her parents, John Howard and Margaret Frances Christeson Wright and brother, Dr. Richard D. Wright. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732 and other times at the home. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to St. Mary Social Concerns Committee, 902 Crawford Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29730 or The Cheerful Givers, P.O. Box 312, Conway, AR 72033.
