September 22, 1906 --- January 16, 1986

Marion A. Kuhn, 79, of 1108 S. Shore Drive, Clear Lake, died Thursday (Jan. 16, 1986) at a Mason City hospital. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th, Clear Lake, with the Rev. R.M. Griffin officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Mr. Kuhn was born Sept. 22, 1906, in Story County to Jesse and Jecoba (Chitty) Kuhn. He attended school in Ames and married Ada P. Tilley on Sept. 30, 1926 in Boone. They farmed in the Ames, Belmond and Clarion areas until 1950 when they moved to a farm south of Clear Lake. They moved to Clear Lake in fall 1972. Mr. Kuhn was a member of Regular Baptist Church, Clear Lake, and the Clear Lake Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nick (Sybil) Dangelser, Algona, and Mrs. John (Evelyn) Stecher, Des Moines; a son, Marvin, New Bloomfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Robison, Quincy, Ill. Pallbearers were Duane Toppin, Dr. Gary Blodgett, Wayne Badker, Donald Goranson, Victor Pedelty, and Martin Hansen. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
