Augusta B. Beisner, 96, of Williams died Wednesday night March 6th at the Heritage Home in Clarion. She was born Sept 9, 1871 to Gottlieb and Rose Marie Bauman. She was married to Herman Beisner March 9, 1897 at Webster City. He preceded her in death in September 1943. She came to America in 1893 and moved to the Vernon Township area in 1899. Surviving are four sons Fred, Frank, and Everett, all of Dows and Leonard of Williams; two daughters, Mrs. Elsa Domres of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Inez Jacobson of Dows, 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son Lawrence, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held March 9 at the Vernon Lutheran Church southwest of Dows with Rev. David Anderson officiating. Interment was in the Vernon Township cemetery. The Van Hove funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
