Anna Marie Schwandt was born at Pleasant Plain, Sangamon Co., Illinois,. July 26, 1889 and died at her home near Renwick, Iowa, July 22, 1917 at the age of 27 years, 11 months and 26 days. In 1894 she came with her parents to Webster City, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. In 1909, the family moved to Renwick. On Jan. 15, 1912 she was united in marriage to August Schipull and to them four children were born, Lawrence, Martha and Marie, and an infant son, Carl, three days of age.

Mrs. Schipull was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwandt of Webster City. She leaves to mourn, her devoted husband and children, parents and three brothers, namely, Fred and Herman of Renwick and Ludwig of Webster City, who have the sympathy of a host of friends in their great bereavement.

She united with the Lutheran church early in life, always attending services if possible. She was also a member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid of Renwick, in which circle she will be greatly missed. She was an unselfish daughter and sister, wife and mother, untiring and uncomplaining in her devotion to duty.
