Funeral services for Judy Kuester, 44, Eagle Grove, sister of Roberta Booheister of Humboldt, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 20) at the Church of the Open Bible in Eagle Grove, with burial in the Union Cemetery, Livermore. She died Thursday, Dec. 13, at her home in Eagle Grove, of natural causes. The Mason - Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements, with the Rev. Lloyd Meyer officiating. Casket bearers will be Tye Schoon, Troy Schoon, Trent Schoon, Kirk Sheehy, Erin Sheehy, and Juanita Booheister. Honorary casket bearers will be Lloyd Pardun, Andrew Kruger, Lewis Nickel and Steven Adams.

Also surviving, besides her sister Roberta, are her husband, Ronald; a son, Neal; a daughter, Bambi; her mother, Lucille Hoppe of Clear Lake, WI; and four other sisters, Arlene Sheehy of Marshalltown; Rosylin Slone of Shady Point, OK; Marian Rugg of Green Valley, AZ; and Bonnie Moore of Clear Lake, WI. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne, brother, Arvid; and an infant son, Joel.

Judy Marlene Hoppe, daughter of Wayne and Lucille (Neal) Hoppe, was born July 6, 1946, in Madelia, MN. She attended school in Dakota City and Eagle Grove, graduating from Eagle Grove High School in 1964. She made her home in Eagle Grove. She was a member of the Dorcus Circle of the church and Rebekah Lodge 501 of Clarion.
