MORIN, BACON, REILLY, RILEY, CURRAN

March 13, 1887 --- July 12, 1907

John Morin, son of Mrs. Morin of this place, died in the hospital at Granville, North Dakota last Friday, July 12, 1907 at the age of 24 years, 4 months. The cause of death was tuberculosis of the knee joint. Deceased was born on the home farm in the county, near Hardy, Ia. He grew up to manhood on this place and was an attendant of the Livermore schools. He left here about 4 years ago and went to Minot, North Dakota, where he married Mattie Bacon of the place in February of 1906 and he was employed in farming. He injured his knee last fall. The injured knee got worse and his health was very much impaired at the time that he went to the hospital in Granville to undergo an operation from which he died. The remains were shipped to Livermore, the wife and baby accompanying them, arriving here on Monday. The funeral was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, south of Livermore.

Those present for the funeral were: Mrs. Morin's three brothers: M. D. and James Reilly of Irvington and C. H. Reilly of Lu Verne; also the deceased cousins, Harold Reilly of Minneapolis; A. M. and A. F. Curran and wives; friends of the family were also here from Lu Verne.
