July 23, 1924 --- March 2, 1991

STRATFORD, IA - Maralyn F. Angstrom, 66, rural Stratford, died Saturday, March 2, at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Stratford, Rev. Sue Ellen Sherman officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery south of Stratford. Visitation at the Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m., with the family present from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, when the casket will be taken to the church.

Maralyn F. Beal, daughter of Phillip V. and Minnie E. (Spotts) Beal, was born July 23, 1924, in Eagle Grove. She married Luverne Angstrom on June 1, 1945, in Boone. She was employed as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Luverne, Stratford; four sons, Owen Angstrom and Craig Angstrom, both of Stratford; Ivan Angstrom, Webster City; and Kevin Angstrom, Boone; three daughters, Stonna Nicholas, Woodstown, N.J.; Linda Lager, Boone; and Janell Garvey, Ankeny; and 19 grandchildren.

Mrs. Angstrom was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and Order of the Eastern Star Avon Chapter 504, all in Stratford.
