Funeral services for Viola Wassell, 87, Livermore, were held Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Wilson Funeral Chapel in Livermore, with burial in Union Cemetery there. She died Sunday, Sept. 29, at North Villa Park Care Center in Fort Dodge, where she had been a resident since 1984. The Wilson Funeral Home of Livermore was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include a son, Robert Taylor of Livermore; and two brothers, Ray Wilson of San Francisco, CA, and Lee Wilson of Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Viola Wilson, daughter of Archie and Maude Wilson, was born Jan. 10, 1907, at Eagle Grove and moved with her family to Livermore, where she attended schools. In 1928 she married Floyd Taylor. Following their divorce she moved to Arizona. In 1973 she moved to Fort Dodge.
