FORMER RESIDENT OF RENWICK PASSED ON IN MINNESOTA

RENWICK - Edward A. Simpson, a former resident here, passed away Thursday morning, April 17, of a heart attack at his home in Sherburne, Minn. He was in his usual health up to the time of his death. He was born Dec. 22, 1879, at Webster City, Iowa, where he spent his early life. He was united in marriage Oct. 28, 1902 to Miss Lucy Martin. He lived on his farm in Boone township for many years before moving to Sherburne, Minn., in 1930 where he since made his home. To this union were born nine children. One son Rex, passed away Oct. 22, 1937. His wife and eight children mourn his passing. He was a member of the Methodist church for many years. His funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Cook and Rev. Paul Neal officiating. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery east of Renwick.
