May 20, 1882 --- January 18, 1957

Mrs. Edith Donly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard France, was born on a farm near Woolstock, Iowa, May 20th, 1882, and passed away in a Fort Dodge hospital on January 18, 1957. On February 21, 1901 she was married to Henry H. Donly. They became the parents of two daughters who survive to mourn the loss of their mother. They are Mrs. L. H. Mattice of Sheldon, Iowa and Mrs. Ivan Anderson of Eagle Grove, Iowa. Also surviving are six grandsons, John and Wayne Mattice of Sheldon, Delvere and Daryl Anderson, Boone, Iowa, Russell Anderson, Willmar, Minn., A2-c Ronald Anderson now on active duty in Alaska, also three great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters Mrs. Frankie Fisher, Eagle Grove, Mrs. Alma Klaas, Washington, Iowa, Mrs. Jessie Frasier, Rice Lake, Wis., and one brother Richard France, Miami, Florida, besides several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Donly joined the Methodist church at an early age and has continued to be an active member of the Eagle Grove Methodist church until her death. Mrs. Donly loved her home and been a devoted wife and mother.
