December 16, 1876 --- May 25, 1918

Annie M. Hennebery was born in Pocahontas county Dec. 16, 1876, and passed away at her home near Gilmore City Saturday, May 25, 1918, at the age of forty-two years. She grew to womanhood in this community and was married October 22, 1902, to Mike Loftus. To this union six children were born, being Bernard, Joseph, John, Helen, Tom, and Francis. Mrs. Loftus has been in poor health for some time past, but became seriously ill about one week before her death. She was a good, Christian woman, a kind mother, and will be missed greatly in her home and by all who knew her. She leaves her husband, six children, four brothers and two sisters to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held from St. John's church Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
