The Passing of August Urion after an illness of only five days.

August Urion passed away Saturday at his home in Renwick. Mr. Urion was stricken with paralysis Tuesday night and it was known from the first that the disease would terminate fatal.

August Urion was born in Rouvres-en-Xaintous, France, December 3rd 1833 and died in Renwick, Iowa, March 5th, aged 75 years, 3 months and 2 days. Mr. Urion came from France when 21 years of age, coming first to New York state and from there to Wisconsin and afterward removed to Iowa. He was united in marriage to Harriet Bevier October 1st 1863 and to them were born six children, two sons and four daughters. Three daughters having preceded their father to the spirit world. He leaves to mourn his departure, his faithful wife, two sons and one daughter. Mrs. Mary Foley and Frank of Renwick, and Fred of Sterus, Mont., and several grandchildren. Mr. Urion was converted at the age of 25 and united with the Baptist church of which he has ever remained an earnest and faithful member. Funeral service was held at the Baptist church at 10:30 March 7, conducted by the pastor, J. S. Nicholson and was largely attended by sympathetic friends and kind neighbors. Interment occurred at the Elmwood Cemetery. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community. In the death of Mr. Urion a good man has gone from among us.
