Last Rites For Mrs. Joseph Loux

Mrs. Joseph Loux, 88, died Sunday at her home on East Broadway following several weeks illness. Mrs. Loux suffered a stroke Feb 4th and had been critically ill since that time. Mrs. Loux is survived by five children Mrs. Wm. Thebiay with whom she made her home, Mrs. August Grandgeorge of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Wm. Schaumberg of Clarion, two sons Charles Loux and Celestin Loux both of Eagle Grove. The Loux family formerly resided on a farm six miles east of Eagle Grove and moved to Eagle Grove in 1927. Mr. Loux died in 1931 and Mrs. Loux was also preceded in death by four children. Other survivors included two brothers Charles and George Kastler of Woolstock, two sisters Miss Lizzie Kastler and Mrs. Emma Mourlam of Woolstock, three cousins Mrs. Gus Banzet of Edna, Kans, Mrs. Leona Kastler of Altamont, Kans. and Louis Muller of Liberty, Kans. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran church in charge of Rev G. F. Mensing. Burial was in the French cemetery near Woolstock.
