MRS. FREY, 83, MESERVEY, DIES

Funeral Held at Reformed Church; Husband and 7 Children Left

MESERVEY, IA. --Feb. 12. -- Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Grace Frey, wife of Bertus Frey, Sr. She died at her home here Thursday from old age complications at the age of 83 years and 6 months. The family lived in Meservey and vicinity 43 years, practically ever since coming to this country from Germany, where Mrs. Frey was born. Her aged husband and seven children survive. The children are Mrs. Lena Groen, Mrs. Grace Pals of Meservey, Mrs. Hannah Suntken of Alexander, Mrs. Helen Lieuwen of Belmond, Barney of Meservey, and Joe and Henry of Minnesota. There are 54 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. The funeral was held at 1:30 o'clock at the Reformed church. Burial was in the local cemetery.
