HOLD RENWICK RITES FOR LILA THOMPSON

Mrs. Charles Thompson, 57, Renwick, died Monday night in Humboldt County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Services were held Thursday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Renwick, with burial in Vernon Township Cemetery, Hardy. Blake Funeral Home, Renwick, was in charge of arrangements. Lila Proctor was born at Wilton and married Arthur Larson in 1945. He died in 1968. In 1974 she married Charles Thompson at Hardy. Mrs. Thompson was a graduate of Iowa State University, Ames and had taught school in Renwick for 18 years. Surviving are the widower; her mother Mrs. Procter, Hardy: daughters: Mrs. Ruth Abels, Ankeny; Mrs. Arlene Jacob, Ames; and three grandchildren.
