Funeral services for Myron "Mike" Lynn, 62, Eagle Grove, formerly of Marengo, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Grace Evangelical Free Church, Eagle Grove. He died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1997, at the North Iowa Mercy Medical Center, Mason City. The Rev. Tom Hein officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.

Myron Lynn was born Sept. 22, 1934, at Marengo, the son of Walter and Edna (Hawkins) Lynn. He married Charlotte Corporon July 3, 1972, at Tama County, and had been a resident of the Clarion and Eagle Grove areas since 1960. Lynn is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cindy Edgington, Norwalk, and Karrie Shea, Eagle Grove; one son, Rodney Lynn, Clarion; Five grandchildren, Caitlyn Edgington, Alex Wagner, Angels Lynn, Taylor Shea and Michael Shea; one sister, Barbara Simmons, Clarion, and one brother, Russell Lynn, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Anna and Alice; and one brother, Walter.
